Irregular Plural Countable Nouns

In the following sentences from ESL students' writing, you will find problems in countable nouns.  Find each problem and correct the error.

When the noun changes from singular to plural or from plural to singular, you may also need to correct the verb.


1. Many people from different country live in Boston.

2. We are three brothers and two sister.

3. Hong Kong is one of the most important industrial and trade center in the world.

4. These women have many hope and goal for the future.

5. Scientists are trying to find new ways of saving life.

6. In school, each children has a chance to participate in the activities.
