How Do You Know Which Article to Use?

 

The singular form of a countable noun can be introduced by the articles a, an and the.

The plural form of a countable noun can be introduced by the article the, or no article (empty placeholder).

A noncount noun (which is always singular) can be introduced by the article the, or no article (empty placeholder).
