Gerunds and Infinitives:  As Object of the Verb

WHERE'S THE ERROR?

Solution 1:       ... don't like to go ....
Solution 2:        ... don't like going ....

POWER EDIT:  STOP and START

 

Let's review the first three patterns.  Write the correct form of the object of the verb in the space provided.

...I started watching TV every day.  ... I said to myself, "I'm not going to stop watching TV ...
But after one month, I started getting OR started to get headaches and my eyes started tearing OR started to tear when I would read.  ...it would be better to stop watching and to begin studying English in college.  ... I stopped watching TV.  ... my eyes stopped tearing.  ... I want to watch the news.
