What Is an Adverb?
An adverb can modify: | |
a verb | I hope that I remember correctly. |
I wasn't playing well because I was nervous. | |
an adjective | It was very interesting. |
another adverb | She was crying very* loudly. |
a whole sentence | Unfortunately, I didn't have time to do that. |
