Prepositions

With this lesson we begin our unit on adverbs.

Warmup 2
Write prep phrase beneath each prepositional phrase and phrasal verb beneath each multi-word verb..

   For each phrasal verb in the exercise above, can you think of a synonym for that verb?

"wake up" = awaken, arise

"sit down" = sit, (to be) seated
"(to) grow up" = (to) be raised (in)
