Editing Practice: Power Edits

 

Now it's time for some editing practice with possessives.

Editing practice helps you to internalize what you've learned.  You will have an opportunity to think about each sentence.  Take as long as you need; this is a pressure-free activity.

The sentences below could be improved if the writer used a possessive structure.  Rewrite each sentence below with a possessive structure in the appropriate place.

2.  Last year, I went to the wedding of my cousin.

6.  My sister her name is Rose.

7.  Religion is part of the human being existence.
